Occasionally, we may have dogs that do not meet the various criteria to become a Service Dog. These dogs are adopted out to families or individuals in order to enjoy life as a companion. Dogs may be released from our Service Dog program at various stages throughout training.

    Adoption Application

    I understand that being a responsible pet owner means making a commitment to caring for the dog for the rest of its life, and that a dog can live to approximately (15) years of age. I also understand that the dog will need to visit a veterinarian for an annual check up. I also understand that additional veterinary care may be required as a result of illness, accident or other medical condition and that the associated costs will be my responsibility. I further understand that it is my responsibility to provide a municipal license for the dog, abide by local dog-related by-laws and that I will be legally responsible for any damages the dog may cause to people or property.
